Mechanical Designer

We are currently seeking skilled mechanical designers who enjoy the challenges of working with many different products and processes. The position is full time and you will report directly to our Engineering Manager. An Associates Degree in Mechanical Design and a minimum of 3 – 5 years of related work experience is required.

You:

• Have excellent solid modeling and detail drawing skills (experience with modeling complex parts and assemblies in SolidWorks or Pro/E required).
• Have first hand experience designing injection molded and die-cast components.
• Possess a thorough understanding of GD&T and it’s application in product design.
• Love getting into the details of a design including building working prototypes and testing.
• Will interface with clients from a variety of industries, therefore good written and verbal communication skills are essential. Organizational and planning skills are important in being able to handle multiple tasks.
