Challenge
Provide industrial design and mechanical engineering for a creative, flexible dock light concept envisioned by Phoenix. Identification of key user issues and analysis of safety, aesthetic and engineering considerations was needed to successfully bring the concept to market.
Result
This unique lamp has won industry accolades with its high functionality and minimalist form. Durable enough to withstand numerous forklift impacts, it also features a flexible neck design for fast and versatile positioning. The unique head design simplifies bulb replacement to minimize downtime. A cool-touch handle intuitively directs the user where to grab and a heat resistant housing reduces the potential for injury.
