Challenge
InForm worked closely with RF Technology’s electronic and systems engineering teams to develop a creative, and patentable way to tag assets and instantly signal a Wi-Fi monitoring system if a tag has been tampered-with or removed. The system needed to be able to sound an alert, automatically lock-down doors and even deactivate elevators.
Result
InForm designed and developed a tamper-detection solution that adheres to flat surfaces and is adaptable to a tether configuration for tubular and irregular-shaped objects. The device housing is small, chemical-resistant, durable and itself tamperproof. Extra long-life batteries and compact electronics give the device a three-year working life.
